Sisters and Seekers
The Brief
Sisters approached us at the start of their business after we were recommended to them from a friend. The sisters, self confessed non-tech people, knew social media and Instagram but nothing of the great big world-wide-web.
Their brief was short and sweet; an elegant, modern fashion eCommerce website for their clothing range. Being at a complete standing start, we covered logo design, site design and branding in line with the sisters tastes and wishes. The platform also had to be simple and straight forward to use due to them managing the website and their stock between themselves. Because of this it was crucial that they would get to grips with the platform, and find it simple and straight forward to use.
The Response
After initial design sketches, the site visible today is very much the same in terms of layout and branding from what it was when it first launched. The sisters look after all of their inventory management inhouse, update the image library and write all their own content - to that end we built the site based on WordPress and Woo-commerce.
The delivered site was handed over with a little tutorial to ensure they weren't just being left to fend for themselves!
Many months later we have delivered various other projects and jobs for sisters, including their promotional artwork, brand tickets, and even building a data collecting tool to auto process and feed their delivery order details into their courier of choice.
The Technical Bit
We ran Sisters and Seekers with WooCommerce, the eCommerce platform plugin for WordPress. Scalable and free, WooCommerce provided the platform for Sisters and Seekers to build their online business on. In fact, they were still operating on the platform. Looks like it made an impression.
