The importance of testing

The majority of Hawaii received the chilling message about 30 minutes ago, an incoming missile and it was not a drill.

Luckily it would appear that it wasn’t a drill, but it wasn’t real – a mistake.  We’re looking forward to ‘the fallout’ (sorry!) to hear what went wrong and how something so impactful could be sent.  Apparently there are still people in shelter now – not everybody uses social media and they haven’t sent a message to say it was a mistake!

Thankfully, Hawaii is okay, and a lesson can be learnt about the importance of testing and diligence. It’s nice to know that such a system is in place and it is effective, hopefully it will never be needed! Hopefully a procedure is now in place to ensure that it doesn’t happen again!
